Hambone Relay is a Los Angeles-based organ trio founded by Hammond organist Mark Brown. The band combines funk, soul and blues to create their own unique brand of improvisational music. The core group consists of Brown on Hammond Organ, Trevor Boggs on guitar and drummer Ben Pham laying down the groove. Originally founded in Philadelphia almost 10 years ago, Hambone Relay has recorded 4 studio albums, 2 live ones and has a large catalogue of originals and covers. The band has shared the stage with greats such as Melvin Seals, James Hunter, Rebirth Brass Band and the organ legend Booker T Jones. To add to the trio’s versatile sound, Reyna Mallare joined on lead vocals in 2022.
